ICDS Training Programme

ICDS Officers

Training is a key element for improving and maintaining the quality of performance of the project personnel at all levels in the implementation of ICDS activities and services. It is the most crucial element in ICDS since the achievement of quality services and reaching the goals of ICDS depend mostly on the sincerity and active participation of the frontline functionaries i.e. the Middle Level and field functionaries to bring about behavioral change in the community.

The Anganwadi Training Centre focus on regular training for the grassroot workers to enhance their capacities in the implementation of ICDS activities at the village level and also to cover all the targeted beneficiaries.

The Middle Level Training Centre besides conducting the regular training it also proposed to sensitize mothers, voluntary organization and community leaders in different subjects related to ICDS through other trainings.
